End User License Agreement (EULA)

IMPORTANT: Please read this End User License Agreement ("Agreement") carefully before using KafkIO. By installing or using the software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.

Grant of License

CMR Technologies Limited ("Licensor") grants you ("User") a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to install and use KafkIO ("Software") on your personal or business devices. This license is provided free of charge for both personal and commercial use.

Redistribution

You may redistribute the Software, provided that it is distributed in its complete, original, and unmodified form as provided by Licensor, this Agreement is included with any redistribution, redistribution does not misrepresent the origin of the Software or imply endorsement by Licensor, and redistribution is provided free of charge. You may not sell, rent, or otherwise profit directly from distributing the Software.

Restrictions

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software. You may not modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Software. You may not rent, lease, sell, or sublicense the Software. You may not remove or alter any copyright notices or trademarks contained in the Software.

Ownership

The Software is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. All rights, title, and interest in the Software remain with CMR Technologies Limited. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership to you.

Third-Party Libraries

The Software may include third-party libraries licensed under separate terms (e.g., MIT, Apache, BSD, LGPL). Those licenses apply only to their respective components. CMR Technologies Limited complies with such licenses and provides attribution as required. Nothing in this Agreement limits your rights under those third-party licenses.

Updates

Licensor may provide updates, bug fixes, or new versions of the Software at its discretion. Such updates are subject to this Agreement unless accompanied by a different license.

Warranty Disclaimer

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Licensor disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Licensor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Software. Licensor's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software (which is zero, as it is provided free of charge).

Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. It will automatically terminate if you breach any of its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using and destroy all copies of the Software.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ireland.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and CMR Technologies Limited regarding the Software and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings.
